Description
Genet Wonderland seeks a straightforward way to demonstrate the complicated nature - symbiosis between trees and genet. Represented by different materials and textures, the interspecies integrate the forest into one entity.

The project brings together computation and the fiber arts to model what forest scientist Suzanne Simard calls the “wood-wide web,” a mycorrhizal network—fungi and tree roots—that carries nutrients and messages between plants.

Experiments and Iterations: I found out that the proper way to communicate with the theme is crochet which is just as orderly, complicated, and beautiful as nature is.
